Premier Hair Stylist in Brooklyn, NY.
Growing up I was always intrigued with the process of doing hair. I had very coarse hair and if it wasn't being pressed and curled in the kitchen I was off to the salon. It started with me watching African women braid hair while I was waiting to be seen or looking at them while facing the mirror as I got my hair box braided or cornrowed . After many visits and countless hours in the chair I was able to mimic most of the things that I watched them do. It happened that way with all of the styles I had worn. I would spend most of my time recreating what I saw people do to my hair on anyone that would let me practice on them. I mostly practiced on myself and for me it seemed like just a hobby. I never thought of it as anything else because I enjoyed doing it. After graduating high school, I decided to take my hobby to the next level and enrolled in beauty school instead of college. That was the first step of many to the beginning of my career.
